What you need to know

Our top-spec SunTek ceramic films give superior UV and infrared rejection, for real comfort and protection rather than just a darker window.

We cut the film by computer, so there is no need to cut on the glass and no risk of scratching it. We also test the original glass first, because some factory privacy glass already has good infrared blocking. Some installs do require removing the door trims. There is always a slight chance a plastic clip breaks, and if one does, we replace it, so the job is finished properly. Templated film can sometimes leave a very slight gap, and if you prefer, you can request a shaved finish that removes the gap completely.

What we install

SunTek Ceramic Film

AutoArmor Sunroof UV Armor

Sunroof PPF that blocks heat and UV, protects against hail and stone chips, and helps prevent the glass shattering.

Window tinting across Melbourne

Our workshop is on Norcal Road in Nunawading, and owners come to us from right across Melbourne's east for tinting. Every window is cut by computer on site, so the glass is never scored.

The warranty ends. The craft doesn't.

SunTek ceramic film is built to last the life of the car. The install — computer-cut, never scored, properly fitted — is what makes that true.

Frequently asked questions

What is the legal tint limit in Victoria?
Front side windows must allow at least 35% of light through (35% VLT). Rear side windows and the rear window must allow at least 20%. We check your factory glass first as some privacy glass already has tinting built in.
What is the difference between ceramic and standard tint film?
Standard dyed or carbon films darken the window but reject little heat. Ceramic film rejects infrared heat at the source, so the cabin stays genuinely cooler — not just darker. SunTek ceramic also blocks over 95% of UV.
Do you cut on the glass?
No. We cut every window by computer, so the glass is never scored. Hand-cutting on the glass risks scratching the surface and leaves visible blade marks at the edges.
How long does window tinting last?
A quality ceramic film from a reputable brand, properly installed, will last the life of the car. Cheaper dyed films can fade and purple over time, particularly on the rear window.
