Who we are

Shoyi Auto Craft is a trading name of Shoyi Australia Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Auto Marquee Group Pty Ltd. We operate from Unit 1/41-49 Norcal Road, Nunawading VIC 3131, Australia. References to "we", "us" and "our" in this policy mean Shoyi Australia Pty Ltd.

What information we collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

• Contact details you provide via our enquiry form, email, phone, or messaging channels (name, email, phone number, vehicle details).
• Vehicle records relating to work we perform (make, model, year, VIN, rego, photographs of the vehicle before, during and after work).
• Communication history when you message us through Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, email or our website contact form.
• Job and invoice records associated with services we provide.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Respond to your enquiry and provide quotes
• Schedule and deliver services on your vehicle
• Issue invoices and process payments
• Honour warranty claims and product guarantees
• Send you service reminders, follow-up communications, and (only if you have opted in) marketing communications
• Comply with our legal and tax obligations

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers we use to run the business — for example our accounting platform (Xero), our messaging platforms (Meta for Instagram and Facebook, WhatsApp Business), our hosting provider (Vercel), and our database provider (Supabase). Each of these providers has their own privacy commitments and we choose providers with strong reputations.

Photographs of your vehicle

We take photographs of vehicles we work on for quality control, warranty records, and (where you have consented) for use in our gallery and social media. If you do not want your vehicle featured publicly, tell us before the job starts and we will keep the photos internal only.

How long we keep information

We retain customer and vehicle records for as long as is necessary to provide ongoing warranty and follow-up service, and to comply with Australian tax and consumer law obligations (typically seven years from the date of the last job).

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations). Email info@shoyi.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.
