Up to 4 year life · Colour only

Vinyl Wrap

The traditional colour-change film. No stone-chip protection, and we recommend removal within 4 years before the adhesive breaks down. A genuine option when the look is the only goal and protection is already handled elsewhere on the car.

Coloured PPF carries a 6 to 8 year rated life. The standard of the install is what makes that mean something — edges laid clean, prep done properly, no shortcuts.

How we approach a colour change

The prep matters as much as the film. We clean, clay and correct the paint before anything goes on.

Wrapping over contaminated or scratched paint locks those imperfections in permanently — you will see them under the film. Our process starts with a proper detail prep so the film goes on a clean, corrected surface. The edges are wrapped and trimmed by hand for a clean, factory line with no visible seams.

Our graphics team can also design and produce custom decals and liveries, layered over coloured PPF or vinyl, for owners who want to go further than a straight colour change.

What is the difference between coloured PPF and vinyl wrap?
Coloured PPF is a paint protection film that comes in colour, giving you a colour change and self-healing stone-chip protection in one layer. Vinyl wrap changes the colour only, with no protective function against chips. Coloured PPF costs more and lasts longer — 6 to 8 years versus up to 4 for vinyl — and protects the paint underneath for its entire life. For most owners who want a colour change and a protected car, coloured PPF is the smarter long-term spend.
How long does a vinyl wrap last?
A quality vinyl wrap, properly installed, lasts up to 4 years before we recommend removal. Left beyond that, the adhesive can break down and the film becomes harder to remove cleanly. Coloured PPF lasts 6 to 8 years with self-healing and chip protection built in.
Can vinyl wrap or coloured PPF be removed without damaging the paint?
Yes, on factory-finished paint. Both come off cleanly when removed within their rated life, leaving the original paint untouched underneath. On resprayed panels the bond is different and there is no guarantee, so we are always upfront about that before we start.
Do you prepare the paint before wrapping?
Yes. The paint is hand washed, clayed and corrected before any film goes on. Wrapping over dirty or scratched paint locks those imperfections in permanently — they will be visible under the film. We will not wrap a car that has not been properly prepped.
