Tesla Paint Protection Film & Ceramic Coating in Melbourne

Teslas are one of the most common cars through our Nunawading shop. Soft factory paint, big freeway kilometres and strong resale all make a case for film.

Where a Tesla chips first

On a Model 3 and Model Y, the front bumper, the leading edge of the bonnet, the mirrors and the A-pillars take the brunt of stone chips, while door edges and the rear-bumper loading lip cop scuffs. A front-end package covers exactly these areas; a full edgeless bulk wrap covers the whole car.

We work cleanly around the camera and sensor housings, the flush door handles and the panel gaps that need a properly trimmed edge. Soft paint means correction matters, so we cut and polish before any film or coating.

Film and coating together

Many Tesla owners pair film on the front with a ceramic coating over the whole car. Film stops the chips, the coating keeps the paint easier to wash and glossier between details. We give you an honest read on whether you need both or just one. Either way, keeping the paint sharp protects the car's resale value, which matters on an EV.

Frequently asked questions

Is PPF worth it on a Tesla?
Given how soft the factory paint is and how many freeway kilometres Teslas do, film on the front end is one of the best-value protections you can buy, and it helps resale.
Will the film affect the sensors or cameras?
No. We work around the sensor and camera housings cleanly so everything functions normally.
How much does it cost?
Front-end packages start from around $2,600 inc GST, and full coverage runs higher with the film and finish you choose. For a Tesla, a complete package with our top-tier finish, including window tint and sunroof protection, tops out at around $8,500. We give a firm quote at consultation.
