A full ceramic coating package from a quality installer — with proper paint correction included — sits in these ranges: small to medium car (hatch, sedan, smaller SUV) $1,200 to $2,500; large SUV, wagon or prestige vehicle $1,800 to $3,800; supercar or heavily modified vehicle from $2,500 upward, quoted on inspection.
Those are the numbers for a job done properly. Below that, in the $600 to $900 range, is a different category entirely — which we cover below.
What is actually in the price
Three things move the number: how big the vehicle is, what state the paint is in, and which coating goes on.
Size is straightforward — a larger vehicle takes more product and more time. Paint condition is where it gets more variable. If the paint has swirls, wash marks or oxidation, a proper result requires correcting them first. The coating bonds directly to whatever surface it touches, including every defect underneath. A one-stage machine polish is the minimum. Heavier paint damage needs more stages, which takes more time.
The coating product matters too. Installer-grade ceramics from manufacturers like FEYNLAB perform differently from what is sold online or used by unaccredited detailers — the chemistry, durability and warranty structure are genuinely not the same product.

What our full package always includes
Paint correction — a cut and polish to clear swirls and wash marks before anything goes on. This is not optional for us, because coating over uncorrected paint locks the defects in permanently.
Full decontamination before the polish: a proper wash, iron fallout treatment, and clay to pull bonded contamination out of the clear coat. Only then does the machine polisher touch the paint.
IR lamp curing to harden the coating properly and shorten the window before the car can be washed again.
Window coating included. A coated windscreen sheds water faster at highway speed and stays cleaner. It is included as standard, not as an add-on.

Ceramic coating is a maintenance system. It keeps the paint cleaner, glossier and easier to wash. It does not stop a stone chip. That is the job of paint protection film, and a lot of marketing blurs the line between them.
If your concern is physical damage — chips, scratches, road debris — film is the answer. If your goal is keeping the finish in better condition with less effort, ceramic is right. On a prestige or new car, many owners do both: film on the high-impact panels, ceramic over the whole vehicle including over the film.

How long does it last?
A properly applied FEYNLAB coating, on corrected paint, maintained correctly, holds for five to ten years. The key variable is washing. A coated car still needs to be washed, ideally by hand or touchless. The coating reduces how much contamination sticks and how hard you need to scrub — but an automatic brush wash will degrade the hydrophobic layer faster than almost anything else.
A coating that has been through regular brush washes will have lost most of its properties within eighteen months. The same coating on a car that is hand-washed throughout will still be performing at year five.
